Online Dispute Resolution
Customers who are defined as consumers under Law no. 144/2015 and who have entered into purchase and sale and/or service contracts have the right to resort to official entities that can assist in resolving any dispute related to such contracts, without prejudice to taking the matter to the Judicial Courts. The updated list of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) entities available under Article 17 of Law no. 144/2015, of 8 September, is listed on the Consumer Portal, which can be accessed at www.consumidor.pt. For further information, you may also consult Law no. 144/2015. We also inform you that, to resolve disputes arising from online purchases, you may use a dispute resolution system known as the “ODR Platform – Online Dispute Resolution”, created by the EU. This platform can be accessed via the following website: Online Dispute Resolution Useful links to official ADR entities: Lisbon Consumer Conflict Arbitration Centre Vale do Ave Consumer Conflict Arbitration Centre / Arbitral Tribunal CIAB – Centre for Consumer Information, Mediation and Arbitration (Consumer Arbitration Court) CNIACC – National Centre for Consumer Conflict Information and Arbitration Coimbra District Consumer Conflict Arbitration Centre Algarve Centre for Consumer Conflict Information, Mediation and Arbitration Porto Consumer Information and Arbitration Centre |
